About this property
A first floor apartment in the hills above San Pedro, holding both the sea and the mountains in the same view.
Ocean Pines sits within Puerto del Almendro, the wooded enclave on the Benahavis side of the valley where the pines were left standing and the houses built around them. Completed in 2006, it is a gated community of low white blocks stepped down the slope so that each terrace looks over the one below rather than into it. There is a lift in the building, a garage beneath, and the sense of quiet that comes from being a few minutes off the coast road rather than on it.
The apartment faces south west, which is the aspect people on this coast pay for. Large windows and a run of terrace take the light through the afternoon and hold it into the evening, and the outlook is genuinely two sided, the Mediterranean in one direction and the mountains behind Benahavis in the other.
Three bedrooms and two bathrooms give it proper family proportions rather than holiday flat proportions. The kitchen is fully fitted with Siemens appliances, and air conditioning with heating runs throughout, so the apartment works as a permanent home and not only as a summer one.
