Do I pay you anything as a buyer?
No. In Spain the seller pays the agency commission, and it is already inside the asking price. You will not receive an invoice from us for finding you a property. Your own costs are the usual purchase costs, roughly 10 to 13 per cent on a resale, covering transfer tax, notary, registry and your lawyer.
Which areas do you cover?
Marbella and the Golden Mile, Nueva Andalucía, Puerto Banús, Sierra Blanca and Nagüeles, Benahavís, Estepona and San Pedro de Alcántara. If you are looking further along the coast, say so and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right people.
Can you help if I am not in Spain yet?
Most of our clients start that way. We will send video walkthroughs, run live viewings on a call, and put together a shortlist you can react to before you book a flight. When you do come, we will build the trip around the properties that are still standing after that filter.
What do you need to give me a valuation?
The address, the built and plot size, and roughly when it was last renovated. That is enough for a desk figure. For a firm number we would rather walk the property, which takes about forty minutes and costs you nothing.
Do you handle rentals as well as sales?
Yes, long and short term. Maite runs that side. Short term rentals on the Costa del Sol need a tourist licence, so if you are buying with holiday letting in mind, raise it early and we will check the licence position before you commit.
What happens to my details?
They are used to answer your enquiry and stored in our own system. We do not sell data, we do not pass it to other agencies, and we do not add you to a mailing list unless you tick the box. Ask us to delete it and we will.
Which languages do you work in?
Six, across the team, English and Spanish among them. Whatever you are most comfortable in, there is a good chance one of us speaks it.
