Who we are
Marbella estate agents with a quarter century on this coast
JUST Real Estate was founded in Marbella in 2015. We have 25 years of experience in this market. We work the most established addresses on the Costa del Sol, from market analysis and valuation through to investment advice and the search for a home, and we do it with discretion, because most of the people we act for would rather not be talked about.
We have access to over 2,000 properties and work with our agent network to find the best on and off market opportunities currently available. A long history here means we deal directly with owners and developers, and source homes that may never reach the open market.
Between us the team speaks six languages and has worked in this specific market since 2001. Every transaction is registered through Spain’s Colegio de Registradores, and we guide clients through that process from first viewing to the notary.

James founded JUST and brings more than two decades in global property markets, with Marbella at the centre of it. He began here in 2001 in a sales role at the Costa del Sol’s largest agency, then led business development for a major developer with projects in Nova Scotia and Buenos Aires, coordinating the Canadian sales programme through Savills. Since founding the company he has advised on over €500 million of property, and represented some of the most significant figures in business in finding their homes in Marbella.

Alina co-founded JUST and oversees residential sales and exclusive listings across Marbella and the Costa del Sol. She started at a leading Madrid luxury agency, was promoted to Sales Manager, then moved to Marbella as Sales Director to launch and scale a London franchise, spending six years building one of the region’s strongest networks of buyers, sellers and developers. Her career covers more than €200 million in transactions, including Golf Hills Estepona, Benahavís Hills, and individual villas valued up to €10.2 million. She holds a degree in Tourism from the American University of Beirut.

Maite is from Ronda with long established roots in Marbella, and knows the coast’s individual communities in detail. She read Interior Design at the San Telmo School of Art in Málaga, and built her property experience at firms including Exxacon and Keller Williams. She curates the JUST collection and looks after rentals, with an approach built on attention to detail and quality control on every instruction that comes in.

How long has JUST Real Estate been working in Marbella?
The firm was founded in Marbella in 2015. The experience behind it goes back to 2001, so there are twenty five years in this specific market between the team, covering two full cycles including the crash and the recovery that followed it.
Which areas do you cover?
Marbella and the Golden Mile, Nueva Andalucía and Puerto Banús, Nagüeles and Sierra Blanca above the town, then west into Benahavís, San Pedro de Alcántara and Estepona. It is deliberately a short list. This is the stretch of coast we know street by street.
How many languages does the team speak?
Six between us. Tell us which one you would rather deal in when you first make contact and we will put you with the right person.
Can you show me properties listed with other agencies?
Yes. Through our network memberships we have access to more than two thousand properties, which is effectively every resale listed through an agency on this coast. We also deal directly with owners and developers, so a good part of what we show clients has never reached the open market.
