Will Smith Electrifies Starlite Festival in Marbella With Flamenco Vibes

On 26 July 2025Will Smith delivered his first-ever performance at the Starlite Festival in Marbella, treating fans to a high-energy concert and an unforgettable cultural fusion. The event was his only Spanish date of the season and landed at the celebrated Cantera de Nagüeles venue.

During the show, Smith invited around 40 lucky audience members—selected via social media—to join him on stage, dancing to “It’s Not Unusual” in a playful nod to his Fresh Prince of Bel-Air Carlton Banks character. He also paid tribute to the late actor James Avery, who portrayed Uncle Phil, adding an emotional touch to the evening.

In a standout moment, Will Smith donned the persona of a flamenco enthusiast, joining local maestro Felipe de Algecirasfor an impromptu flamenco segment that earned cheers, applause—and plenty of “¡Olé!” from the crowd.

According to Starlite co‑founder Sandra García‑Sanjuán, his performance was one of the most ambitious of the edition—lifting up to 40 fans on stage and delivering surprises that only Starlite’s boutique festival format can offer.

It was not just the music that stood out: the festival’s signature blend of live concerts, world‑class gastronomy, and an open‑air clubbing experience made the night feel more like an entire cultural spectacle than a usual tour stop.

Smith’s Marbella visit follows his previous appearance at the 2024 Starlite Gala, where he was a guest of honour alongside Antonio Banderas and collaborated with flamenco‑rap artist India Martínez on the fusion song First Love.
