Asking prices across the agency networks we track, as at 30 July 2026. Bars span the middle half of each peer group; the line marks the median. The first bar covers apartments and houses together, so a house will often sit high on it.

These are the averages across ALL apartments in Marbella that disclose a figure, not this property alone. Where a bill for this one is on file it is shown against that range so you can see where it sits. Bills follow the rateable value and the community budget, so two neighbours can differ; we will get you the actual figures before you commit.

Registered sale prices across Marbella, October 2025 to April 2026. Real money paid and recorded, not asking prices. The deed count is a measure of our coverage of the register, not of how many homes sold, and deeds register some months after the sale, so this is one pooled figure for the whole window rather than a monthly line.

Three different measures, shown separately because they are not comparable: what sellers ask, what deeds record, and what valuers assess. The last two cover a whole postcode and a whole municipality at every price level, so a prime property will always sit well above them.

About this property

A renovated garden apartment set within the Japanese Gardens quarter of Marina Puente Romano, its single storey laid out above the communal grounds so that koi ponds, mature planting and the pool sit directly beyond the terrace doors.

Marina Puente Romano occupies one of the most established addresses on the Golden Mile, a low rise resort development built around gardens rather than blocks, threaded through with water features and framed by the beach it fronts. Conceived in the 1970s and continually refreshed since, it has held its position through five decades of new arrivals along this coast, its beach club and boutique row still drawing a crowd that could choose anywhere on this coast and chooses to return here. Few developments in Marbella combine this scale of amenity with genuine architectural restraint, the low, whitewashed blocks and dense subtropical landscaping having aged into something closer to a botanical garden than a resort. The Japanese Gardens sit toward the quieter, western end of the complex, where ornamental ponds and clipped planting give the pocket its name and its calm.

The apartment was renovated in 2025 to a contemporary standard, its living and dining area opening through glass doors onto a partly covered terrace that catches the afternoon sun from its south west orientation. The kitchen sits open to this space, built around a central island in marble and brushed metal, finished to complement the apartment’s overall restraint rather than compete with it.

Three bedrooms are arranged for genuine separation from the living areas. The principal suite carries its own bathroom, a second bedroom is also en suite, and the third is served by an adjacent family bathroom, giving guests real privacy rather than a shared corridor. Tasteful, muted tones run throughout, in keeping with a renovation built to last rather than simply photograph well.

The terrace is where the apartment is at its best, its partly covered run looking directly over the mature gardens and communal pool, close enough to hear the water rather than simply glimpse it. Sitting at garden level rather than raised above it gives the apartment a groundedness that upper floor units in the same complex don’t share.

A carport space and a separate storage room are included, useful in a development where street parking is limited during the summer months.
