These are the averages across ALL apartments in the Golden Mile beachfront that disclose a figure, not this property alone. Where a bill for this one is on file it is shown against that range so you can see where it sits. Bills follow the rateable value and the community budget, so two neighbours can differ; we will get you the actual figures before you commit.

Registered sale prices across Marbella, October 2025 to April 2026. Real money paid and recorded, not asking prices. The deed count is a measure of our coverage of the register, not of how many homes sold, and deeds register some months after the sale, so this is one pooled figure for the whole window rather than a monthly line. These medians cover the whole of Marbella and the surrounding few kilometres. They do not represent prime frontline property, which commands from around €13,000 per m² upwards, and should not be read as a guide to this one.

Deed prices are only published per postcode, and this postcode covers the whole area including the hillside behind it, so there is no published sold figure for the Golden Mile beachfront on its own. We hold the sale evidence for this strip ourselves, built up over years, and will take you through what has actually changed hands here.

Is Puente Romano a hotel or a residential address?

Both, on the same ground. The resort occupies the centre, and around it are residential communities carrying the name, including Marina Puente Romano on the beach immediately west. Only those two appear on Marbella’s official Catastro register. Other community names are in everyday use without being on it, which is worth knowing when you compare what you are shown.

Is there really a Roman bridge?

There is really a bridge, crossing the arroyo Nagüeles inside the grounds, and it is protected at Nivel 2 in Marbella’s heritage catalogue. On the dating the official record is careful: traditionally ascribed to the Roman period, probably later, possibly preserving only the springing of the arch from a Roman original, with a possible link to the via Augusta.

What type of property for sale in Puente Romano is most common?

Apartments, by a wide margin. Of the thirty eight homes genuinely for sale here on 15 August 2026, twenty three are apartments and eleven penthouses, against three villas. The 5 listings on the market carry those same homes several times over. Anyone looking for a villa should be looking at the hillside above.
