About this development

NARA is a small scheme of eight detached villas on the Hacienda de Campo, in the Valdeolletas hills directly above Marbella old town. Paseo de los Jazmines runs quietly through the enclave and the plots step down the slope, which is what gives each house its outlook rather than a view of its neighbour.

Every villa is arranged over four levels: basement, ground floor, first floor and a solarium that takes the full run of the roof. That last level is the one that sells the scheme. From it the town sits below and the sea beyond it, and on the clearest days the Rif mountains close the horizon.

The architecture is restrained and contemporary, white volumes and long horizontal openings, and the specification is consistent across the eight houses rather than tiered. Private pools and landscaped gardens to each plot.

Three of the villas are finished and two of those have already been handed over. The remainder are being built and can still be adapted at this stage.

Valdeolletas is a five minute drive from Marbella centre and the beach, and the ten minutes it takes to reach Puerto Banus makes it one of the more practical addresses on this side of the town.
