About this development

Vesta Mare is a beachfront scheme of 145 homes at Castillo de la Duquesa, on the stretch of Manilva coast between the old castle and Puerto de la Duquesa. The plot runs to the sea front, which is the point of it: the three buildings are set out so that the great majority of the homes hold a sea view rather than a view of each other.

Layouts run from one to four bedrooms, so the scheme takes a wider range of buyer than most of this size. Terraces are deep and face the water. Finishes are modern and the build is put together to a sustainable specification rather than a decorative one.

The communal provision is generous for the price point: an infinity pool, a separate childrens pool, a gym, landscaped gardens and a coworking room. Parking and a storeroom come with every home. There is also an interpretive museum on the site itself, a condition of building beside the castle and an unusual thing to find inside a residential scheme.

The castle and the beach are a walk away, Puerto de la Duquesa with its restaurants and marina a few minutes further, and Sotogrande and Estepona both sit within a short drive.
