Common questions
Questions about properties in Altos de Puente Romano
How many properties are for sale in Altos de Puente Romano?
1 on our books today. The twelve newest are above and the rest are one click from here. Others again are held privately at the owner’s request, so ask us if nothing on the list fits.
Where exactly is Altos de Puente Romano?
Altos de Puente Romano sits within Puente Romano. Our Puente Romano guide sets out where it is, what it is like to live in and how prices compare with the areas around it.
Can you show me properties in Altos de Puente Romano that are not advertised?
Yes. Tell us the brief and we will send what fits, including properties the owners have asked us not to publish.
Is Puente Romano a hotel or a residential address?
Both, on the same ground. The resort occupies the centre, and around it are residential communities carrying the name, including Marina Puente Romano on the beach immediately west. Only those two appear on Marbella’s official Catastro register. Other community names are in everyday use without being on it, which is worth knowing when you compare what you are shown.
Is there really a Roman bridge?
There is really a bridge, crossing the arroyo Nagüeles inside the grounds, and it is protected at Nivel 2 in Marbella’s heritage catalogue. On the dating the official record is careful: traditionally ascribed to the Roman period, probably later, possibly preserving only the springing of the arch from a Roman original, with a possible link to the via Augusta.
Can I book a viewing before I travel to Marbella?
Yes. Tell us the properties you want to see and we will confirm access with each owner or agent and put the viewings into one trip, so you are not waiting on replies once you land.
